Gourd hand carved with a turtle in the center of gourd and two small hand carved turtles on each side.
This gourd vessel was hand carved with a large turtle in the center of the gourd and a small carved turtle on each side. Gourd stained with a brown leather dye. Gourd protected with two coats of super-tough satin finish. A satin finish seals the extensive carving and dyework for this art piece.
Approximate measurements are a tall 8” height by 61/2” widest width. Nice detail work with a Native American theme.
All materials used are non-toxic. I use gourds from my brother's farm in North Carolina and sustainable natural materials whenever possible.
